We were very surprised to find this beautiful, perfectly located hotel was dog friendly and almost expected to be disappointed in the "dog friendly-ness" of the hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. There was no lecture at check in about not letting the dog on the bed, or ensuring she did not bother other guests, just a warm-ish welcome and the exciting discovery of a small park (with grass) directly across the street for necessary doggie business. Rooms are well appointed, clean and beautifully decorated.
Hint: Since dogs are not welcome in the restaurant, we had a bit of trouble finding a pub that serves food and is dog friendly, so you may want to do a bit more research to find such a suitable place or do like we did - have a few drinks at and the dog friendly Coeur De Lion, then resort to Indian takeaway back at the hotel.
